Cayley's Message

Dear Friends,

I hope you had a great holiday season and a very Happy New Year.  With the start of 2006 I know you are probably very busy, but I was wondering if I could steal a few minutes of your time.

It seems that these days we can rarely find time in our busy schedules for our close family and friends, let alone strangers.  I am in my last year at University of Hawaii, and have began to reflect on all that I have experienced over the past few years and all that this community has done for me.  Being a Wahine Volleyball Player has changed my life, and I will forever be grateful to ever person involved in the program.  It is time for me to give back, in a big way.

The memories that I have experienced at UH cannot be put into words, the people who have left footprints in my life come in all shapes and sizes, and will never be forgotten.  When I leave this state all I will be able to think about is coming back, but before I leave I need your help.

This year’s second annual University of Hawaii's Relay for Life is going to be much more powerful than last years.  It will be a true testament to the aloha of this community. I don’t think there is another state in our Nation that is more generous than Hawaii.  I am asking you to make a donation, in memory of all those that have fought a battle to cancer and lost, to honor those who are still fighting, and to recognize survivors.  Relay for Life is an American Cancer Society Event that takes place nationwide in all shapes and sizes.  Our walk will be from 7p.m. March 3rd until 7 a.m. March 4th.  I need your help to make University of Hawaii's one of the most memorable.

Your donation can be whatever you see fit, if your organization would like to make a monetary donation than that would be wonderful.  If you would like to volunteer a service, food, or your own personal help at the event it would be greatly appreciated.  Trust me you are not going to want to miss out on this opportunity to get involved with the community and the University of Hawaii.
